In May 2014 the Film Production created a short film about life in the 1940s titled “Boondoggle: Mission Bay.” In this project student wrote an original screenplay, directed the actors as well as created original art direction. The location for the film was chosen as Pier 45 in San Francisco which is run by the San Francisco Maritime Museum and contains the decommissioned WWII submarine the USS Pampanito. With some clever costuming choices and a strong setting the Film Production class ran the production crew for and edited the film completed with original sound design, score editing and color correction.
